JOB BRIEF:
We are a take-out/delivery restaurant looking for a well spoken, organised & responsible customer service rep with the ability to multitask. Candidates must be able to provide a first class customer service experience through effective customer relations and point of sale interaction. Job duties include taking and entering customer food/drink orders, tracking order status and effectively communicating necessary updates to the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking customer orders via phone call, text messages or whatsapp.
- Attending to walk-in customers by taking their orders & payments.
- Handling customer complaints by actively listening, understanding and providing solutions within a good time frame.
- Punching orders accurately into the Point of Sale system.
- Confirming customer payments then sending their orders to the kitchen.
- Communicate required updates to customers regarding their order status.
- Maintain a good, positive & professional attitude when communicating with customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by offering excellent customer service always
- Communicate/coordinate with colleagues respectfully.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year minimum Customer Service experience.
- Minimum of high school diploma required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to speak and type correct English.
- Ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment.
- Candidates must reside on the island (Lekki).
- Must be flexible and can work some weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to prioritise assigned duties & manage time effectively.
- Ability to stay calm and remain polite when dealing with angry customers.
- Candidates must have basic computer / POS system knowledge.
- Candidates must be success driven and keen to learn new things.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦50,000.00 - ₦70,000.00 per month
